Wholesale FAQs

Who Can Become a Wholesale Customer?

  • Firstly, you must be representing a business planning to sell my products to your customers. Wholesale accounts will not be granted to individuals looking to buy products for themselves or their friends and family.
  • Secondly, and just as importantly, our businesses should share a similar ethos; e.g. if your shop sells a lot of mass produced or plastic-based products, then the fit might not be quite right.
  • Finally, online businesses are welcome to apply, providing that you operate your own website, rather than selling through a third party marketplace, such as ebay or amazon.

Registering as a Wholesale Customer

You can register as a wholesale customer in two easy steps.

  1. Go to the My Account page, click on Register, then enter and submit your details.
  2. Then drop an email to wholesale@wrappedbyalice.co.uk, letting me know:
    • The email address which you used to create your account.
    • A bit about your business; ideally including a link to your website. If that’s not possible, then links to your socil media would be a great alternative.

Within the next 24 hours I will send confirmation, via your registered email address, of your wholsale customer status; if you have not been successful, I will explain why. If wholesale status is granted, then next time you log into your account, you will have full access to the wholesale range and pricing, and you’ll be ready to place your first order!

The Wholesale Range

My wholesale range comprises of a limited selection of my entire retail inventory; create your wholesale account to discover which products are available direct to you as a retailer.

Product Information

Detailed information regarding each product can be found within the Description of each listing. However, if you’re after just the key facts – e.g. size, recycled content, etc – these details can be found under the Additional Info tab of each listing.

Wrapped By Alice is an eco-friendly business, using only recycled papers; as such there, can be natural variances in colour and texture between products. I believe this adds to the beauty of the items, and is also a mark of their eco credentials.

It’s worth noting that kraft paper is very sensitive to light, and should therefore not be displayed in full sunshine, as it will bleach.

Packaging

As standard, my products are sent without any additional packaging. However, I am happy to package certain items – such as greeting cards – in clear biodegradable sleeves, if you’d prefer. I’ll be in touch to discover your preference, once your order has been placed.

Minimum Order

Minimum order value is £100.00 (exc. P&P). Certain products also have minimum quantity restrictions. The wholesale discount will not be applied to your cart until these minimums have been met.

Pricing

Wholesale pricing is shown on each item, alongside the product’s RRP. VAT is not applicable, as I am not VAT registered.

Payment

Payment is via Stripe. Payments using Stripe use a tokenisation process. This ensures that Wrapped By Alice operates in a PCI-compliant way. Your order will not be processed until full payment has been made.

Lead Times

In normal circumstances, dispatch from date of ordering will take two to three weeks.

However, lead times will vary depending on the contents of your order, and the volume of orders I’m experiencing at the time (e.g. between September and November you can expect longer lead times).

I will be in touch within 24 hours of your order being placed, to discuss your individual dispatch date.

Shipping and Customs

P&P for all UK orders, regardless of size, is a flat fee of £10.00.

International orders are also welcome. P&P for these orders will be automatically calculated based on the specific contents of your cart, and will be considerably higher than the UK charge.

All orders are dispatched from Sheffield, England. I don’t work exclusively with any one particular courier, but wholesale orders will always be sent via a fully tracked service.

UK orders should arrive within 1 to 3 business days of dispatch. International orders should arrive within 3 to 7 working days of dispatch. However, these times are not guaranteed, and can be affected by a number of external factors, such as peak times and customs delays.

Customs charges on international orders are the responsibility of the retailer, and I am not able to predict what these charges may be.

Returns

You can make a request for a return or exchange within 5 working days of receiving your order.

Other than in the case of damaged goods, all products must be returned in their original condition and packaging, and at your own cost, as the retailer. Once I receive the goods, I will issue a refund or exchange, as requested.

Cancellations

You can request cancellation of an order you’ve already placed. However, if production is already in progress, cancellation of the order will incur a fee of up to 50% of the total value of the order. A refund of the remaining amount will be issued via Stripe.

Exclusivity

Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure exclusivity when requested. However, due to the nature of online purchasing, it may not always be possible to fully guarantee this exclusivity.
